With all our role models getting knocked up, posing for pictures half naked,
making sex tapes, doing drugs, or just being Lindsay Lohan and running the entire gamut,
it’s hard being a parent to a young, impressionable teen these days.
It’s almost enough to make everyone want to get their tubes tied.
But in case you were holding out hope that there are still some nice, sweet girls out there,
here’s further proof that optimistic energies are wasted.
The Miss Universe Organization, owned by real estate magnate Donald Trump,
has stripped the reigning Miss Teen Louisiana of her title for theft and drug possession—
just ten days before her tenure was set to end.
Eighteen-year-old Lindsey Evans—who was also the third runner up
in this year’s Miss Teen USA pageant—was arrested with three friends
after they reportedly “dined and dashed” on a $46.07 check.
When officers searched her purse, they also found marijuana.
According to the president of RPM, which sponsors the pageant
"Lindsey Evans has been part of an organization that believes in opportunities
when earned and consequences when warranted.
Due to recent circumstances, Lindsey has been relieved of her duties
as Miss Louisiana Teen USA 2008 effective immediately."

In the grander scheme of things, it’s hardly earth-shattering, but the funniest part of the story
is that they got caught after Evans forgot her purse in the restaurant and had to go back to get it.
Skipping out on a restaurant bill in itself is just a show of crappy character
but if you’re going to do it, you should probably make sure you’re not a complete idiot first.
She can always just blame it on all the pot she smoked beforehand.
